Seeking Committee Members!
We are excited to announce that 2026 marks the 25th anniversary of the library’s current building at 280 Main Street. To commemorate this milestone, we are seeking interested people to serve on a committee. The committee will plan and carry out events leading up to a grand celebration on June
10, 2026.
All interested in helping, please come to the next meeting on Tuesday, January 13th at 4:00

Storytime is an interactive experience for little ones and their caregivers.
Each week we read a few books, sing a few songs, interact with the flannel board, and enjoy getting to know each other with lots of silliness. And of course, the star of the show is Harry (aka Mr. Whuffles) who comes around at the end to tell you what your fingers taste like! Fun!
It's a wonderful way to spend a morning with your kids.

Toddler Time
This program is designed for two-year-old's and their caregivers. It lasts for roughly 20 minutes. There is a lot of singing (very badly on the part of the librarian!) and a short book or two. We include fingerplays or flannel board story; craft or scarf songs! Each week is a different experience.
Most weeks we are lucky that the trash comes during storytime. We stop what we are doing and race to the window to watch!
Baby Time is one of the sweetest programs we offer. Babies (under 2) and their special caregivers get to enjoy crawling, laughing, terrible singing, puppets and stories. It is a very relaxed setting, where moms are welcome to nurse, babies are welcome to crawl and everyone is welcome to have fun. And maybe learn a little baby sign language!
Three year old Storytime
This program is designed to meet the needs of an increasingly independent three year old, along with their special caregivers. This story time is centered around a theme. Each week we will sing, do fingerplays, and read stories that are a little bit longer. Not to mention we often have to have a round of The Silly Dance Contest! This story time lasts for a good half an hour. And then we often go longer while doing the craft.

Crafts in our storytime will not be the keepsake heirlooms. But, hopefully, you have fun!

Our annual "Applesauce" Storytime is one of our favorites!
