Available Technology

The Rutland Public Library offers a variety of technology equipment for public use.

Computers

5 Computers for adult use (Users must be at least 16)
3 Young Adult Computers (Users between ages 11 and 16)
3 Children's Computers (Children up to 5th grade and their parents)

Computers offer:

• Internet
  
• Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, and Excel)
  
• Black & White Printing (10 cents a page)
  
• Color Printing (20 cents a page)
  
• Scanning (free)
  
• In-library access to research databases

Photocopier

Black copies, 10 cents per page, pay at the front desk.

Fax Machine

$1 per first page, 50 cents for each additional page. Ask at the front desk for help using the fax machine.

Scanner

There are two scanners, one in the adult section and one in the young adult section. Look for the sign that states "This printer is attached to the scanner" and follow the directions posted by the computer. Scanning documents is free.
